One of the main highlights at this year’s CES is the announcement of Google’s latest version of their highly popular mobile operating system Android. Now at version 3.0, aka “Honeycomb” was created to focus on giving the best mobile operating experience in tablets. This is Google’s answer to the vastly popular Apple iPad. Android 3.0 “Honeycomb” was showcased at CES running on the new Motorola XOOM which will be the flagship tablet device upon its release within the first quarter of 2010.
